This Omaha Sports Club will again host a virtual league for intermediate (2.5 to 4.0) players this summer. It will be a handicapped singles league and will run from 12–16 weeks. We will get together in early May to play some matches to check rating levels before the league starts. While the ratings will be based on the NTRP, we will use our “OSC adjustment factor” to fine tune the handicap system for gender and skill. We will use the “no tie breaks--must win by two, best two of three sets” scoring. The players will have a three-week window during which to play the current week’s match (one week before, one week after), which should help with vacation scheduling. We will offer one place prize per four players.

For those of you who are more interested in working on your racket control and shot making than aerobics, join us in setting up a doubles league this summer. With enough players, we can carry on through the winter and spring.

We also are looking to set up an instructional league for beginners. The openings will be in groups of four, and will most likely be played in the Koch Tennis Center by Tranquility Park.
