A new format “Modified Green Ball” scramble. But what is it?

3 people play scramble format AND

1 person plays a green ball.

(The Green ball hitter rotates every hole, take turns. But very generous drops if you hit in the rough and pull the ball out of the sand placements making less stress on the green ball hitter).

 

More “green ball” rules at golf course. (You’re gonna want to be the green ball hitter). Each team to receive 3 green balls.

This event is a Tee Times format beginning at 10am. No luncheon afterwards but sandwiches are handed out at the turn. No waiting afterwards for results... But results posted online.

 

Prizes for flights and some pin prizes awarded later.

 

Outdoor seating for those that want to stick around or possibly go somewhere in Lincoln (on your own later).

$58 per person (guest play for $63) limited to 36 golfers.

 

I have mentioned before that rates are going up, that definitely affects weekend golfers for "Prime Time". I called many 18 hole golf courses and this is a great weekend price. (Plus food and a small prize fee).. Prices were anywhere up to $90 at Indian Creek, Woodland Hills, Pacific Springs and Bent Tree. Since we are fielding 36-40 golfers our chances for shotgun starts at 18 hole golf courses are over till we get more golfers. City courses like Johnny Goodman and Benson will not allow tee time reservations 3-4 weeks out.
