Omaha Sports Club August 2024 Scramble at Griswold Golf Club (Griswold, Iowa)
The July Golf Scramble (at Atlantic C.C.) did not turn out as we had hoped, was it the heat or was it going to be too expensive and too large?…
In the meantime... we’ve put together a scramble event at Griswold Golf Club. Its a 9-hole course and we’ll play it twice around. It will be a four person scramble with a shot gun start at 9:30AM.
Our event will be on a Sunday and it’s fairly easy to get to the course. Head straight East on Highway 92 (past Treynor, past Carson about 45 minutes). A luncheon will be provided afterwards and we're budgeting for Flag prizes.
Awarding teams with “All Sports Club Members” a Handicap and adding strokes to teams that have guests. (I’ll have to look up the results of the early season poll to engineer other playing possibilities.)
This even is in the store and there is a 9-team limit (and carryover from 2023 putting challenge)
