Yes, Summer OSC Pool League is over. I know it is a sad time, but it's only for a few weeks....
Thanks again to those playing the short summer session. I hope you had a good time and were able to get to know a few more good people. Scott and Gigi took the Championship with Jack and Jerry only a few points away, and then a TIE for third. Too bad the only trophies are for first, but I'm not really for participation awards.....
I'll get the trophies to Scott and Gigi. Since our low budget only affords mail order trophies, the base broke off of both trophies before they could get them home! They are repaired now, and I'll get them out soon. I'll do better next time. Sorry about that.
I'll email those from the summer, plus the players from last session when I get things lined up for the fall league, so don't block me if you want to play, and let me know if you have anyone else that would enjoy what we do. It will be posted on the web site too.
The plan is to announce the dates and get it on the store in August with a first night start in the first couple weeks of September, ending in December.
The rules of play are posted on the OSC Website if you want to check them out, and just a fun fact is that half of our teams are co-ed or couples, so get your woman (or man) to make a date night of it! It's a very low cost sport, and a lot of good people, so watch for the next session announcement.
Remember, FREE POOL at Big Johns on MONDAYS all Summer long.
